Despite the changes in the sled dog sports towards faster breeds and crossbreds, we always stayed fond of the Siberian Husky, a polar-type dog.

Bred for efficient metabolism to do maximum work with minimum food in cold climate we admire this creature as a masterpiece of evolution and breeding. It is part of man´s culture.

However, in those years, when the Siberians were bred only for show and pet dogs, the breeds versatile sleddog traits like endurance, toughness, workability and the “desire to go” vanished together with soundness and athletic ability.

Our goal is to preserve this unique breed as a working dog. Siberians and snowy, frosty trails belong together in our picture from the “Northland”. With our breeding we try to preserve a piece of culture in our fast changing world.
