To locate Raden on a map, find the autobahn A2/E30 which basically runs southwest to east around Hannover. West of Hannover, just between the exits number 36 and 37, south of the autobahn and north of a forest area you (may) find Raden. If you find your way to one of these exits, the following description brings you to the Alka-Shan-kennel.

If you come from the west, you leave the autobahn A2/E30 at exit 36 (Rehren, Hessisch Oldendorf) about 800m after passing the “Raststätte Auetal”. Turn left and follow that road through the village of Hattendorf to the village of Antendorf. At the road crossing follow the road signs to Raden to the right. After 1.5 km, shortly after the town sign “Raden” you pull into the first farm on the right side.

Coming from the east, you leave the autobahn A2/E30 at exit 37 (Lauenau, Bad Münder). Turn right onto the B442, pass the truck stop (Esso/Burger King) and leave the B442 at the next exit to the right (direction is Rehren, Pohle). At the T-junction turn left and follow that road through the village of Pohle to the village of Antendorf. At the road crossing follow the road signs to Raden to the left. After 1.5 km, shortly after the town sign “Raden” you pull into the first farm on the right side.
